Network Forensics consists of a review of the network infrastructure events in order to discover how the security breach, hacking or computer intrusion took place. Data breaches and hacking incidences affect many industries such as financial, healthcare and technology. Ransomware is malicious software that takes over a person’s computer, encrypts their data and at times they are victims of identity theft. Then the program demands the owner to pay a ransom usually in Bitcoins in order to decrypt the data.
